Then try reading the Treaty of Tripoli, which will explain to you that you don't live in a "Christian Nation".

The Ten Commandments are not the basis of our justice system either. There are only three commandments that deal with justice – #6, #8 & #9 The rest are instructions on how to worship your imaginary god. Are you on drugs? Do you not recall how several Republicans just recently were kicked out of office or censured for their sexual indiscretions. Meanwhile, your anti-socialism identity is pretty funny as the majority of the socialist countries seem alot happier than our country. What is so bad about aspects of socialism when everyone is insured, they have great schools and good work ethics. Those Scandinavian countries look pretty good to me. High taxes yes, but greater equality and better life styles. I had the pleasure of working for a close friend who was robbing the company blind with the bookkeeper and I caught them. After informing the other owners, I was then sued for $6,000,000 for breaking my fudiciary responsibility by him. After thousands of dollars in legal expenses, it was finally dismissed and the guy got away with out a scratch. This legal system sucks. If loser would pay legal fees, I would have never gone through that.

I think we can all agree about John Edwards. This article is not about what a crummy guy Edwards is, it is about what a crummy guy Andrew Young is, and his wife. It is so obvious they are lying to the courts. How many times have they had the chance to come clean? Way too many. It is against the law to lie to a court! That is the problem they are facing. I do think the Youngs should spend some time in jail to contemplate what they did with this "valuable" evidence to "support" their book. My 12 year old could do a better job lying if he really wanted to.

There is a long line of criminals on all sides of the political spectrum. The church too. Promoting, the Ten Commandments and Golden Rule leaves us with, "Do as I say, not as I do." Oh, and don't tell anyone because you'll go straight to hell if you do.

All in all why go after Young and his wife. They did not star or produce the tape or child.

OK – back to the story – I think the guy is boxed in at the moment. He has a judge threatening to put him in jail over the tape. If he gives up the tape, then he's lost all leverage (e.g. dirt) that he had with Edwards or Hunter. Now, he's just another has been trying to pimp a book.

I just finished reading "The Politician." It's very interesting, a quick read, and I recommend it.
No one in this story comes out looking good, especially not Rielle, Edwards, or Elizabeth, who went crazy and left horrible, hurtful messages on the phone of Young's wife.
They were blinded by the pursuit of power. Edwards was actually so dumb that he thought that the revelation of his mistress would be a one-day news story! He didn't even grasp that his image was built on being a faithful family man.
I thank Young for telling this story.

The purpose of the separation of Church and State is so that everyone is free to practice their religion of choice. So that the Government can not impose religious beliefs on the common people, but allow them to find those beliefs on their own. I, for one, have no problem with people who want to worship in the House of the Lord, but I have issue with people trying to cram their religion down my throat like you are trying to do.
